ColossusXT & Gath3r Folding@home Competition Ends!

ColossusXT & Gath3r.io are committed partners in the world of computing power for research. Over the last 2.5 months our communities have joined together to participate in the Folding@home initiative from Standford University to help with COVID19 computational research.
The ColossusXT & Gath3r communities completed over 2,250 work units for COVID19 researchers. These researchers aim to understand disease mechanisms at the molecular level and then find weaknesses that medicines can exploit. This is a very good cause for the entire world as COVID19 has reached new highs all over the world with record cases, and finding a way to combat the virus is a priority in medicine.
Throughout the last 2.5 months our communities come together to lend their computing power to help these researchers simulate these proteins. Together we have completed 2,265 work units, and earned a team total of 12,391,893 credits and we’re now ranked 8,417 of 254,198 teams participating with the Folding@home initiative.
Now that the competition has ended you can still all continue folding for a good cause, it’s now time to reward the top 3 contributors for our competition. The rewards can be seen below.
